This fashion month has been one to remember with an array of new creative directors debuting their collections for top labels, noteworthy street style moments, and exciting celebrity attendees. But above all, we can't help but keep our attention on the new trends. Brands such as Gucci, Tom Ford, Bottega Veneta, and Ferragamo have already ushered in new ideas we can't wait to start adding to the mood board. Other designers also have not been shy in putting forward their unique vision to their collections, with quite a few common themes in certain presentations, henceforth unveiling the must-see trends of next season. From denim on denim to shiny metallics, here are nine trends to know that deserves to be added to your wardrobe come the Spring/Summer 2024 season.
Hot Pants

Brands such as Gucci, Tom Ford, and Prada are all on the same page: Hot pants are the new mini silhouette to wear next spring. But don't panic, there are plenty of ways to hop on the trend without feeling exposed. Be it throwing on a fringe skirt overlay (as seen at Prada) or staying covered on top with an oversized blouse (as spotted at Khaite), the motto for next spring is "go short or go home."
'90s Minimalism
Clean lines, neutral shades, and casual suiting — the Spring/Summer 2024 runways have been a throwback to '90s minimalism. Maybe it's the Supermodel effect, but unveiled on the runway have been pieces well worthy of '90s model-off-duty style. That said, designers have certainly interpreted the trend in their own way, be it MM6 Maison Margiela's reinterpreted version of the slip dress (a '90s staple) or Gucci's array of classic wardrobe separates.

Taking a step back from the pastels that are typically associated with spring, designers went more vibrant, embracing brighter hues. It's not just one color either, brands weren't shy in incorporating a range of bright colors, from yellow to red to blue. Oversized proportions are back in style for Spring/Summer 2024 as decided by Etro, Khaite, and Bottega Veneta. Beyond the traditional winter overcoat, the oversized outerwear fit is especially taking shape in blazers and suiting, allowing an office-friendly take on the trend.
