Rīgas modes nedēļa norisināsies no 20. līdz 24. oktobrim, un šī sezona ieies vēsturē kā debiju sezona. Līdzīga tendence šoruden vērojama arī pasaules modes skatēs – notiek radošo direktoru maiņas, parādās jauni vārdi un jaunas zvaigznes. Kopumā savas kolekcijas Rīgā demonstrēs 17 zīmoli no Latvijas, Igaunijas, Lietuvas, Polijas, Beļģijas un Uzbekistānas, no kuriem 12 uz RFW podija būs redzami pirmo reizi.

Ziemassvētku gaidās, 6. decembrī plkst. 19.00, Rīgas Doma majestātiskajās velvēs izskanēs gada sirsnīgākais un gaidītākais muzikālais notikums – pasaules operdīvas Ineses Galantes “Ziemassvētku prelūdija”. Jau trīspadsmito gadu pēc kārtas šajā dienā uz skatuves satiksies izcili mākslinieki, lai dāvātu klausītājiem īpašo Ziemassvētku brīnuma noskaņu. Koncerts jau kļuvis par vienu no gaišākajām Latvijas pirmsvētku tradīcijām un neatņemamu Rīgas vizītkarti.
