Born in Ukraine, Anastasiia Diachenko has been working in the field of esthetics since 2017. She successfully developed and put in place her own unique method of treating acne. Since 2018, Anastasiia has been living in the USA. In America, she not only quickly certified her esthetician diploma (not everyone succeeds to do that), but also opened her own practice. The plans of the charming blonde include the creation of a School for Advanced Training of Estheticians. At the January Anastasiia published a book &laquo;Unique skin care&raquo; that will be of interest to everyone who is interested in an integrated approach to skin care.

Anastasiia's technique is based on an individual approach to each client, on their skin type and structure, body characteristics, and genetics.

Since 2017, Diachenko has owned her own private office in Kyiv, introducing both innovative and home-based acne treatments. The esthetician carefully corrected the treatment process at each stage, taking into account the progress and regression of the client's skin condition. 83.6% of clients who turned to Anastasiia for help were satisfied with the result. In the process of treatment, they practically got rid of acne. &ldquo;With proper follow-up care at home and regular visits to the beautician, it is safe to say that the achieved result will last for many years,&rdquo; says the expert. In her office, Anastasiia also performed such procedures as chemical peelings of different penetration depths, apparatus procedures, lymphatic drainage massages, moisturizing facial skin and anti-aging procedures.

Anastasiia Diachenko has management experience in the beauty industry - for two years she headed the Kyiv branch of the LOTUS Center for Aesthetic Education and Personal Growth. Anastasiia's professionalism is confirmed by recommendations from the Association of Estheticians of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Association of Estheticians and Aromologists, created on the basis of the National University of Pharmacy, and the Association "Perfumes and Cosmetics of Ukraine".

Anastasiia's experience and professionalism allowed her to confirm her diploma soon after moving to the USA, open an office, and then a practice.

Today, her dream is to create a School of Aesthetic and teach her special technique based on certified products, unique massage and peeling techniques to American estheticians.

&ldquo;I am absolutely confident that my unique technique will benefit millions of American women and make them not only more beautiful, but also happier!&rdquo; says the charming and self-confident young woman, whom L`Officiel Baltic was happy to ask a few questions about her path to success.

How and why did you get involved in beauty sphere?
When I was a child, my girlfriends came to me for all sorts of &ldquo;beauty procedures&rdquo;, it was, of course, a game, but back then I already had an interest in beauty sphere. Then I graduated from the National University of Food Technologies in Kyiv with a degree in Food Industry Engineering. This turned out to be very useful to me in my work in the future, since the composition of the foods we eat and the composition of cosmetics play a very important role in how our skin behaves. But I knew I was not meant to be an engineer, and when I found out that the LOTUS Center for Aesthetic Education and Personal Growth in Kyiv was recruiting students, I eagerly decided to try something new. I really wanted to work with people and give them something pleasant and beautiful! It resonated in my heart, and I am happy to be an esthetician today.

Acne treatment is one of the most difficult areas of beauty sphere. Why did you choose it?
This is really a difficult job, but when I see the effect and improvements, I feel the gratitude of people and it builds up my self-esteem and just gives me wings!

Please tell us about the essence of your technique.
Of course, each person needs a special approach. But there are some nuances that always work. Such as, for example, lowering the pH during procedures that include acids. The use of various acids at different stages of procedures (skin cleansing, toning, serums, peelings of different depths) gives an antibacterial effect, reduces keratization (formation of new cells in the sebaceous glands) of the skin and regenerates it. As a result, you get a superstar's radiant face.

To work as an esthetician you absolutely need the client to trust you. What do you think trust is based on? And how to build it?
Many people come to me with a deposit of trust, but, of course, it is very easy to lose it. I usually ask clients questions - &ldquo;What are your expectations of the procedure?&rdquo;, &ldquo;What exactly do you not like about the condition of your skin?&rdquo; etc. When the client is treated with attention and there is a clear understanding of what exactly the person expects from the procedure, everyone is happy.

You were the head of the Kyiv branch of the LOTUS Center for Aesthetic Education and Personal Growth, having actually created it from scratch. You hired specialists, controlled the selection of funds and lectures. How did you manage to do all this?
I don't know (smiling). The director set clear goals, and this, of course, helped, but sometimes everything got out of control and I had to improvise. At such moments, it was important to calm down and just do the maximum possible. The main lesson that I have learned is that in chaos nothing will ever work out. I eagerly absorbed everything that our director taught me, I was very lucky to have a mentor like her in my life.

What, in your opinion, are the main characteristics of managing a company related to the beauty industry?
From the beauty industry, people expect not only benefits, but also pleasure, emotions, quality time spent devoted to themselves. It is important to remember that clients come for the procedures not only for the sake of a specific service, but for the sake of the overall sensations. I enjoy giving them this experience.

In the field of health and beauty, you welcome the so-called &ldquo;complex&rdquo; approach. Please tell us more about it.
The skin is just one of our organs. In case of skin problems, it is necessary not only to solve them directly, but also to consider them in interaction with the functioning of the body as a whole. I always discuss with clients their lifestyle, how much water they drink, what their diet and sleep patterns are, whether they do sports, how they take care of their faces in the morning and evening. Solving a specific skin problem, you need to correct it all as a whole.

What cosmetic products do you work with?
European cosmetics are considered more effective than American ones, although there are very good brands in the USA. I work with both. Polish cosmetics Clarena with a luxurious fragrance in my salon is responsible for moisturizing. My favorite brand in the American market is Vivant dermatological cosmetics, products with acids and retinols of this brand really change the skin, help in the fight against acne, pigmentation and age-related changes.

Name the top three qualities of a good leader: Being rational, flexible, able to see the whole picture.

You managed to register your diploma in the USA very quickly and opened your practice. Then you came to the understanding that the USA also needs a School of Aesthetic, similar to the one you created in Kyiv. Please tell us in more detail about what kind of knowledge and methods your school will offer access to.
When I started working in the USA, I realized that local professional estheticians training is rather superficial. Girls who came to me lacked both knowledge and practice after their studies. And then I realized that the School for Advanced Training of Estheticians was necessary here. At my school it will be possible to delve into the understanding of the effect of various procedures, to study the functions of the skin, its problems and ways to solve them, learn to pat attention to the client and understand how to 'win him over'. And, of course, to test the acquired knowledge in practice.

We know that you have a book &laquo;Unique skin care&raquo; from Anastasiia Diachenko coming out at the end of January. What will it be about, at what circle of readers is it targeted?
This book will be of interest to young estheticians, as well as people who understand skin care and devote a lot of time to beauty in various ways. In the book, I tell you how to improve your skin's condition, reveal many of the secrets of skin care and the meaning of procedures. For example, I explain why it is so important to do a hygienic cleaning of the face in general.

Do you consider yourself a successful woman? What do you personally understand by "success"?
Definitely. I love my job, I love the people I work with and my workspace, which I have put my heart in. When I immerse myself in work, all my problems seem to disappear, work feels like meditation - this means success for me.

Establish schools in 5 states of America and adjacent skin care centers, provide jobs for estheticians and quality customer service, and educate people about the importance of facial skin care. To create a community of specialists who do what they love and give relaxation and healthy skin to people so that they become a little happier.
