Somewhere between a science experiment, a football match, and a dream scribbled in the margins of a math notebook, Colm Dillane orchestrated his most poetic KidSuper show to date: The Boy Who Jumped the Moon. Under the fantastical ceilings of the Louvre Museum of Decorative Arts, he invited his guests to dive headfirst into the absurd, the marvelous, and the improbable. Carried by the candid optimism of childhood and the elegant naivet&eacute; of those who dare to dream too big, the artistic director weaved an illustrated parable of fabric and audacity.
Each silhouette seemed suspended in that fragile moment where, even if you fail, you are still in the air. From lunar prints to revisited school uniforms, the collection captures the surge of the heart that believes in the impossible. True to the soul of KidSuper, clothing is just a fragment of the universe: here, fashion flirts with cinema, engineering and pure imagination. A car straight out of a graphic novel, a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, nods to Puma and even Papa Johns&mdash;everything becomes fodder for invention. For Colm Dillane, the dreamy child has never ceased to exist; he still runs, head in the stars, convinced that with enough momentum, you can jump to the moon.
