Luxury online retailer Mytheresa has collaborated with the Danish fashion designer Cecilie Bahnsen on an exclusive capsule collection, available globally from June 29th, 2021.

Striving for a more conscious fashion, Cecilie Bahnsen has decided to step away from pre-collections and create only two main collections a year, starting from the season Spring/Summer &rsquo;21. By not strictly sticking to the fashion calendar, the Danish fashion designer tries to challenge the industry&rsquo;s over-production and reduce waste while also simultaneously protecting her own creative freedom. With more time to explore her personal inspirations, Cecilie Bahnsen is able to develop more genuine and intuitive projects, which led to this Summer capsule collection exclusively designed for Mytheresa.

Cecilie Bahnsen, Founder and Creative Director of the eponymous fashion label, says:&nbsp;&ldquo;The inspira-&nbsp;tion behind the capsule collection started with my memories of the Danish seaside and paintings by the painter Anna Ancher in Skagen depicting the blue skies and water, moments of bright yellow and the effervescent beauty of every-day life, ease, and exploring the evening light and the night-time sky rising over the ocean.&rdquo;

True to Cecilie Bahnsen&rsquo;s unique aesthetic, the 12-piece capsule features decadent details such as voluminous skirts, puff sleeves, ribbons and cutout backs for a modern feminine look. Reinterpreting the brand&rsquo;s favourite sculptural styles, the exclusive collection presents timeless collectable pieces in new yellow &amp; blue shades, along with hand-designed floral jacquard prints.
