What should you know when choosing a beanbag? What to look for?

Personally, when deciding to buy a beanbag, I firstly pay attention to its appearance, comfort and quality.

The look is determined by the shape and fabric of the beanbag. Comfort - the right balance of softness and agility. The beanbag should be designed to maintain a rigid shape, but not too stiff to adapt to the shapes of the human body.

It is very important not to forget the quality as well. A quality beanbag must have an outer and an inner bag. The inner bag is filled with filler, and the outer one is pulled out so that it can be easily removed and washed. The inner bag should be made of elastic material, which protects the granules from scattering in the room. The quality of the fabric of the outer bag is very important. It should be a solid upholstery fabric. Fabric strength is measured on the Martindale scale. The higher the score, the more durable and durable the fabric. For home use, a fabric with a friction of 15,000-25,000 on the Martindale scale is recommended, for public spaces 30,000-40,000.

When it comes to filler, the highest quality and lightest is polystyrene granule filler. Since polystyrene is highly flammable, it is necessary to make sure that the granules are non-flammable. So when choosing a beanbag, you should ask for a certificate proving it.

Seams and zippers are very important for the quality of the beanbag. If the seams are loose, the beanbag can tear quickly. Quality seams should be smooth, double, the edges of the fabric should be hemmed. The zippers must be strong, large enough to adjust the stiffness of the seat bag. Very well, when the zipper locks are hidden, then they don&rsquo;t get caught behind clothes and don&rsquo;t scratch the floor.

What to follow? How to choose fabrics? Form? Size? What would be the basic tips for maintaining coherence? 

The fabric of the beanbag should match the color of the indoor environment. In order for the seat bag to blend organically into the interior of the room, it is necessary to choose a color or shade that is already in the room or matches the surrounding materials.

The beanbag can also be used as a color accent in the interior. If the interior is made of quite relaxed tones and one wants to give it a little spice, you can choose an active, bright color. In this case, it is very important that the beanbag looks really good, with a nice shape. If you plan to move the beanbag around, you should choose a smaller size seat bag if you want to move it from one room to another.

Do beanbags really fit into any interior?

How would they look funny? And what would enliven it?

It all depends on the quality and appearance of the seat bag. A beautiful, quality fabric beanbag would fit almost anywhere. Of course, the purpose of the premises must be taken into account. I can&rsquo;t imagine a beanbag in the kitchen or dining room, here it would really look ridiculous and out of place. Seating place in the living room, lounge, children&#39;s rooms, outdoor terrace, waiting room, hall. Colored beanbags usually enliven the waiting rooms of offices, public spaces, lounges, and playgrounds.
