Pharrell Williams and Margaret Qualley shine in Chanel
A true manifesto of boldness and self expression! For its 2020 summer eyewear collection, Chanel revisits its codes, creating a bold and unprecedented transparency. In these photos, 5 important figures from the art world incorporate powerful and characterful pieces. Pharrell Williams, Margaret Qualley, Angèle, Isabelle Adjani and Sébastien Tellier wear models that highlighted their personality in style.
Photographed by Karim Sadli, five sun models bring the elegance and refinement of the house, standing out for the originality of each muse.
For Angèle, a funky oval model, made in transparent acetate. The frame of the glasses creates the perfect contrast with the removable gray artificial pearl necklace that is attached. For Qualley's mischievous face, a butterfly frame made of black metal also gets a necklace, but this time with white pearls.
Isabelle Adjani gets a square model, made in black acetate. Sébastien Tellier uses a powerful model with tweed, inspired by the silhouettes of the ready to wear collection, spring summer 2020. On the wide acetate rods, the double C is displayed as a sticker.
Pharrell Williams, the brand ambassador, appears with an oversized design made in black acetate, which is embellished with thin layers of metal.
The collection will be available from March 2020.
