Keanu Reeves for Saint Laurent F / W19
Anthony Vaccarello, Creative Director of Saint Laurent, revealed through Instagram that Keanu Reeves is the new face of his Fall / Winter 19 mens campaign. The campaign is a holy trinity of black and white images by photographer David Sims, the father of large fashion portraits with great attitude, while Vaccarello was in charge of art direction. In the photographs the actor wears a black leather jacket, while in another, contemplative and totally mythical, he wears a striped suit while his eyes are hidden behind a pair of black aviator glasses. The images, undeniably powerful, remind us, graciously, that tailoring is one of the best parts of wearing clothes as a man and that with the coolness that only the immortal Keanu Reeves possesses, a scruffy beard, and long dark hair is the perfect poster boy of Saint Laurent.
