At twenty, Sadie Sink has already experienced what many spend decades striving for: from roles on Broadway and worldwide fame in Stranger Things to powerful dramatic roles in films, including Darren Aronofsky's Kit.

At first glance, it might seem that her path was predetermined&mdash;a girl from Texas who dreamed of the stage and set out to conquer New York at the age of 10. But, as Sadie herself says, &ldquo;If my brother and I hadn't been in this together, things would have turned out differently.&rdquo;
Theatre was their shared game, their passion, their driving force, and it was theatre that first showed her the power of emotion. It was this intuitive depth that allowed Sadie to play Ellie, the painfully sincere daughter in Kite, where a real emotional storm unfolds within the confines of a small apartment. &ldquo;It was a kind of therapy &mdash; scenes where you scream or let your feelings out really leave you feeling cleansed,&rdquo; the actress recalls of the film's finale, which was shot over three grueling days.

Working with Aronofsky and Brendan Fraser was a turning point for Sink, not in terms of popularity, but in terms of her development as an actress. She admits that it was then that she began to shed her &ldquo;childish&rdquo; habits in front of the camera and learn vulnerability: &ldquo;Even after years in the profession, it's very difficult to truly open up.&rdquo;
Fame came early &mdash; at 14, she was already a favorite of audiences and fashion houses. But Sadie doesn't let fame rule her life. &ldquo;You're left alone with yourself. It's important to have a strong foundation inside because everything around you is constantly changing,&rdquo; she shares. And although fame can be exhausting, especially in the United States, she manages to be more free in Europe: &ldquo;In Berlin, for example, I'm almost anonymous &mdash; it's a rare and pleasant respite.&rdquo;

Sadie is a recognized fashion icon, but even here she doesn't let glamour take over: &ldquo;I have a lot of bags that are just waiting for their chance. For example, a bright pink Chanel &mdash; I'm still thinking about where to wear it,&rdquo; she laughs. Her relationship with Chanel is special: they were the ones who dressed her for her first red carpet appearance.

From fashion shows in Paris to her friendship with Taylor Swift, Sink stays connected to a wide variety of worlds, bringing together music, fashion, and film. She is consciously building her career, choosing projects that help her grow. &ldquo;After working with Darren, it's especially important for me to continue collaborating with directors who can bring out more in me,&rdquo; the actress admits.

What's next? She doesn't speculate or make grand plans, but perhaps the universe already has something in store for her: &ldquo;I never made any specific plans, but when you look back, everything seems to have fallen into place in a cosmic way.&rdquo;
