First, at the beginning of 2022, Prada announced a handshake with Addidas in the Re-nylon collection, then Gucci released impressive sports designs in cooperation with Addidas. This time, there will be a combination of Jacquemus and Nike.

According to an official announcement from Jacquemus, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus shared that pieces from the classic Nike ACG (All Condition Gear) line and the brand's campaigns in the 90s provided inspiration for the him for a long time before that. "I wanted to create a sportswear collection for women that would make them feel good in a minimalist way. So we designed styles with sexy cuts and neutral colors. Just like how I understand my favorite shoe - the Nike Humara. Most importantly, the collection must be accessible, accessible to all. It is a perfect blend of glamor, sensuality of Jacquemus and the functionality and quality of Nike.&rdquo;

Aiming to "celebrate the multi-dimensionality of contemporary athletes", the idea this time is to combine sportswear with everyday wear with a spirit of minimalism. Jacquemus himself admits that he enjoys sports. Therefore, the fashion house has chosen typical products from Nike and added its signature "cool-girl" highlight in the designs. The collaboration also marks the next step for the brand following the opening of its first physical store in London as well as the &ldquo;LE SPLASH&rdquo; campaign with Bad Bunny and its recent show in Hawaii.&nbsp;

Bringing in the vibes of the Nike Dri-FIT fabric, we forge a link between sport and style through the aesthetic lens of both brands. By working with partners like Jacquemus, we are able to expand our sports culture and redefine it for the next generation", - shared Jarrett Reynolds, the Nike Director.

The collection is expected to launch on June 28 this year on the Jacuemus website and be available at all Nike stores around the world.
