A dreamlike campaign that spans two continents, two eras, and thousands of kilometers. Paris embraces Hangzhou, and black satin meets the morning mist in CHANEL M&eacute;tiers d&rsquo;art.

At the heart of this story is Gabrielle Chanel's apartment at 31 Rue Cambon and a large Coromandel screen, whose lacquered panels bring to life the magical landscapes of the West Lake. It was there, in December 2024, bathed in the watercolor light of sunset, that CHANEL presented its M&eacute;tiers d'art collection, and Mikael Jansson captured the moment on film.
Delicate, almost ghostly silhouettes glide through the space, led by the House's ambassadors, Tilda Swinton, Liu Wen, and model Lulu Tenny. Here, the architecture of the drapery transforms into movement, embroidery into landscapes, and jewelry into entire constellations. Black is deep and fluid, like a long leather coat with a camellia from Lemari&eacute;. Liu Wen is the embodiment of night in black satin with floral inlay and a wavy collar by Lognon.
The evening looks here are a revelation in motion: a satin blouse, a belt, lace velvet flowers, and transparency through which delicate Lesage embroidery shines through. Goossens jewelers weave necklaces in shades of gray, midnight blue, and old gold &mdash; like a starry sky captured in metal.

And then morning comes, and a light mist settles on the pleated silk. In other designs, a textured coat with Montex embroidery on the collar is paired with black patent leather boots with quilted heels.
The traveler theme runs through every look: from two-tone knitwear to Coromandel panel motifs, from huge quilted duffel bags to the gleaming tweed CHANEL 25. Each piece in the campaign is reminiscent of a scene from a film, in which the landscape becomes a backdrop for a sophisticated wardrobe.
