But in 2025, luxury cosmetics and cosmetic surgery decided to play a game of “who's more expensive?”, and the stakes skyrocketed. “Soft Unknown” is a visual meditation on the quiet spaces we inhabit — between thought and breath, light and skin. It is a story where nothing shouts, yet everything speaks.

From cherries and monkeys to bejeweled burgers, a new wave of fine jewelry is embracing kitsch, camp, and humor (without sacrificing craftsmanship or cachet).

The story is inspired by Karl Bryullov's painting "The Last Day of Pompeii," which captivates with its drama and contrast between the beauty of life and the tragedy of destruction.
