L'Officiel Baltic tests: Kérastase Première hair care line
Kérastase has created a new line of Première hair products that neutralizes the harmful effects of calcium in the water we use to wash our hair and gives our hair 99% of its original strength back. L'Officiel Baltic team has tested four products from the line: a gel for all types of damaged hair, which is applied before shampooing, a revitalizing shampoo with a decalcifying effect, a conditioner for fine hair and a serum to control frizz. Sharing our impressions below.

I've long known that water quality is important when washing my hair, and hard water with a high concentration of calcium damages it. So I am very happy that Kérastase has launched this line for hair decalcification. I tested all the products step by step, taking five minutes for each one and giving myself a beauty ritual for my hair. I liked the line already from the first stage - a specially developed concentrate for application on wet hair before shampooing, which I liked both the texture and the way my hair felt after application. The rest of the products didn't let me down either - it was interesting and nice to feel how the texture of my hair changed after drying. It felt lighter and at the same time looked shiny and fuller.
Kérastase has been my favorite hair care brand for years, and the Première line is a definite "yes".

I've always noticed that water quality affects the appearance of my hair. Turns out it's not paranoia at all, but excess calcium stealing the health and shine of my locks. My favorite in the line is the transparent decalcinator concentrate, the first step of care. Together with the shampoo and conditioner it made my hair light, "crumbly" and silky. I also liked the thermal protective serum, which is applied to the entire length. My hair got rid of the "crazy frizz", no longer needs the extra assistance of a flat iron and looks much healthier. The only problem for me is finding the time to devote to the four-step care routine. But the small change in my morning regimen is really worth it if your hair, like mine, is in need of a nice retreat.
