After 9 years of preparation, here they are: seven unisex fragrances imagined by Carine Roitfeld. Seven lovers across seven cities : this is the slogan launched by the famous editor-in-chief. And this figure is not trivial. Seven because she says it&#39;s her lucky number, and the choice of 7 cities is associated with the memory of a special man. The perfumes bear the following names: Aur&eacute;lien (Paris), George (London), Kar-wai (Hong Kong), Lawrence (Dubai), Orson (New York), Sebastian (Buenos Aires) and Vladimir (St Petesburg).&nbsp;

A bold launch campaign

It was last February. In full Fashion Week, Carine Roitfeld has chosen to announce the upcoming arrival of her eponymous fragrance line. And who better than the queen of &quot;porn chic&quot; to create controversy with her&nbsp;advertising campaign? Passers-by were able to discover 4,000 posters with the image of Carine, appearing from behind and completely undressed, plastered in the streets of Paris. This photography, made by her&nbsp;daughter Julia Restoin Roitfeld, was quick to react ... However, the icon of fashion ensures that this display was in no way provocation: &quot;My daughter Julia had succeeded, through this clich&eacute; that I adore, to immortalize a moment of life, a memory of this everyday life of the past [...] The sweet melancholy that it inspires me was also present throughout the perfume development, since they, too, are born of some of my memories. &quot;

Haunting scents

To see the day, these 7 juices were developed by 3 famous perfumers: Aur&eacute;lien Guichard, Pascal Gaurin and Yann Vasnier. For the record, these perfume experts were discovered with the help of Tom Ford, designer and long-time friend of Carine Roitfeld. But it is now time to discover the composition of the scents of the legendary fashion editor.

Aur&eacute;lien: this deep composition evokes the orange trees of Paris, opening with notes of citrus before revealing a heart of oil of davana and myrrh.

George: this water, fresh and green, has top notes of jasmine and rose on a background of cyprus, evoking the hidden corners of London bookstores.

Kar-wai: this fragrance has a floral and woody aroma, mixing Longjing tea, Osmanthus shrub and vetiver.

Lawrence: Inspired by a love story set amid the colorful silk and pottery markets of Dubai, this scent offers a sweet heart of jasmine based on an oud base.

Orson: this bottle evokes New York with its light hints of hawthorn flower, benzoin and tonka bean.

Sebastian: this ointment refers to memories of a passionate tango, danced in Buenos Aires, with its bouquet of tuberose, immortal blossom and sandalwood.

Vladimir: this fragrance, deep and mysterious, consists of a rich heart of amber and olibanum. It evokes the breathtaking view of ballet dancers warming behind the scenes of the superb Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg before embarking on the performance of a play by Tchaikovsky.

A remarkable launch party

Yet organized on the same day as the Met Gala, the launch cocktail did not fail to bring back handsome people! Tracee Ellis Ross, Lewis Hamilton, Gigi Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Stephen Dorff, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, and many fashion designers, like Tom Ford, Peter Dundas, Brian Atwood, Joseph Altuzarra, Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee, presented themselves at the event. And the list is obviously not exhaustive ...
