There are cities you don’t set out to visit on purpose — they simply happen to you. Quietly. Casually. In the spaces between bigger destinations, as if someone up above decided: “Now, pause here. Stay. Slow down.” And so it was, almost by accident, that I found myself in Vilnius — where, in the very heart of the Old Town, a hotel was waiting for me. One that didn’t try to impress, didn’t make a scene, didn’t raise its voice — and yet, it turned out to be the most convincing place I’ve stayed in a long time.
