CHANEL Spring-Summer 2025 Eyewear Campaign: When a Look Says It All
Glamour, grace, and the fine line between image and intimacy—CHANEL’s new eyewear campaign turns each glance into a statement.
This season, CHANEL reveals the magic of frames, elevating eyewear from a simple accessory to a bold extension of identity. The Spring-Summer 2025 campaign feels like a cinematic confession. Captured by the lens of Karim Sadli, it features Lupita Nyong’o, Margaret Qualley, Nana Komatsu, and musician Kendrick Lamar—each using their eyes to express what words cannot. These aren't just portraits—they’re visual stories, where eyewear becomes the threshold between the inner world and outer elegance.
For Lupita Nyong’o, the newest CHANEL ambassador, this campaign marks a radiant debut—but her connection to the House runs deep. “CHANEL supported me from the very beginning of my career. I remember wearing one of their pieces at the premiere of 12 Years a Slave in 2013,” she recalls. “They’ve always treated me with such warmth. Becoming the face of a campaign now feels incredibly meaningful. CHANEL empowers the freedom of the modern woman—and that deeply resonates with me.”
Margaret Qualley, a long-time muse of the House, reflects on her journey. “CHANEL shot me for the first time when I was just sixteen. Since then, they’ve remained such an important part of my life and career. I adore sunglasses because they create illusion. You’re no longer yourself—you’re Audrey Hepburn, you’re Grace Kelly. CHANEL gives that mystery.”
For Japanese actress Nana Komatsu, the frames speak to duality. “They let me play with contrasts—between softness and a rebellious spirit, elegance and edge. I love the paradox Gabrielle Chanel stood for: not to conform, but to express. Eyewear becomes a vital part of that expression.”
Kendrick Lamar, ever succinct, adds with quiet conviction: “CHANEL is legacy. It lives beyond fashion. They may not make menswear, but their eyewear is how I become part of that universe.”
The new CHANEL eyewear collection is bold by nature. Whether it’s architectural lines or rounded contours, each frame isn’t just a finishing touch—it’s a starting point. A conversation. A quiet revolution behind the lenses.
