For Meryl Streep, Juliette Binoche and mistress of ceremonies Camille Cottin, Maria Grazia Chiuri has designed three pieces of exceptional Dior dresses.

They're all by Dior, but they don't look alike. Immaculate white for Meryl Streep, incandescent red for Juliette Binoche and deep green for Camille Cottin: the three creations spotted at the opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival did not fail to attract attention. L'OFFICIEL reveals some of the secrets behind these three exceptional pieces.

From the series dedicated to Christian Dior (The New Look, in which she plays Coco Chanel) to a contemporary outfit signed Dior by Maria Grazia Chiuri, there was only one step for Juliette Binoche. Her customized Haute Couture gown in red silk, with its wide d&eacute;collet&eacute; - revealing the shoulders - was inspired by the FRAC dress of winter 1949. The dress required 30 meters of fabric and 550 hours of workshop work.

To receive her honorary award, Meryl Streep wore a custom Dior Haute Couture gown in white silk, draped on the side, which required 650 hours of studio work.

Mistress of ceremony Camille Cottin looked very elegant in this Dior gown from the Fall 2024 collection, in deep green velvet, with a braided belt and a bare back.
