How Art Saves Lives
The painting by the famous artist from Georgia Ekaterina Merabishvili was presented at the charity evening “Food for good” in support of Ukraine.
On Christmas Eve, FIOLA, one of the best restaurants in Washington, hosted a charity evening as part of the “Good for food” project with the support of the famous restaurateur Fabio Trabocchi and the Revival Foundation, co-founded by Washington businesswoman Aksenia Krupenko and a former high-ranking official of Georgia and the Ambassador of Georgia in the USA (2010-2013) Timur Yakobashvili.
The owner of the restaurant, the famous Italian chef and restaurateur Fabio Trabocchi, personally agreed to participate in the fundraising to support the Ukrainian people and funded 1,000 boxes of food in support of the “Good for food” program for the population of the de-occupied zones.
Akseniya has provided a special approach in the implementation of humanitarian projects, she literally created a new format and algorithm that includes a creative approach. “Having worked for a long time with creative people at the highest level, I understand them like no other. Such people are very delicate and receptive in their showing emotions and you need to competently interact with them. But if a creative person gets involved, he does it 100% and directs all his energy to it,” says the co-founder of the Foundation.
From the first days of the start of full-scale hostilities in Ukraine, the foundation has been helping Ukrainian people humanitarianly and logistically. They were among the first to send humanitarian aid, the volume of which was in the amount of 13 aircraft. "The "Food for good" project goes beyond the simple provision of humanitarian assistance, it brings together creative like-minded people and philanthropists from all over the world who are ready to support each other not in word but in an action!" - says the Revival Foundation "We help local volunteers, businesses and employees and remove the social burden from local governments, thereby creating a socio-economic and humanitarian project. Assembling these boxes in Ukraine with local products, we cut collection, transportation, customs clearance, management and other costs to maximize the value of every donated penny."
As part of the dinner, a charity auction was held, at which lots of partners from all over the world were presented. One of which is the famous painting by Ekaterina Merabishvili. Allyson Waldrep personally provided 12 exclusive Tiffany pieces of jewelries from their private collection. Exclusive wines from the Fiola collection of Fabio Trabocchi restaurant were also presented. Unique lot Louis 13 from a private collection of a Ukrainian collector which was sold for $25,000 and many others.
Ekaterina Merabishvili is a famous Georgian artist; her works are emotional and serene. Each painting captivates at first sight, providing you with feelings and emotions. The combination of color, music and graceful movement of her works are the expression of the unlimited imagination of the author. Each piece uses symbolic language inspired by her emotional state, life experiences and dreams, and takes the viewer into a fantasy setting of endless wonder and exploration.
Especially for the auction, Katerina presented her work, which was dedicated to the events taking place in Ukraine. The depth of the work and the perceived energy of power left no one indifferent. The painting was highly appreciated by people and was one of the valuable lots at the auction, it was purchased by Jose Carlos Linners, who not only worked with Ukrainian IT companies, but also his house in Irpin was bombed out. He, like no one else, understood the painting and felt the pain of the Ukrainian mother, who conveys all the emotions of the Ukrainian people. Jose Carlos also supported Aksenia's immersive vision of the "Food for Good" project in creating the image of Ukraine MIU (Made in Ukraine) Girl and helped create an interactive QR code, the presentation of which was also held as part of the evening. By the way, the ethnic image and digital presentation of MIU Girl was created by Aksenia Krupenko, and the design of coral beads, which carry a historical meaning on the layout of the goodness box with products, was provided by ART Olga Navrotska. Art not only lasts forever, but also saves lives!
Также Jose Carlos поддержал иммерсивное видение Аксении проекта Food for Good в создании образа Украины MIU (Made in Ukraine) Girl
