Roses with something to say

An ode to femininity by Magda Butrym and H&M

In a world where fashion increasingly strives for neutrality - straight lines, basic palettes, universal silhouettes - true femininity is beginning to sound particularly distinctive. Not as a manifesto, not as an attempt to be liked, but as a force in its own right. Soft, trembling, but confident. This is the feeling that permeates the Magda Butrym and H&M collaboration, one of the most poetic collections of this year.

This is not just a capsule. It is a delicate interpretation of Magda Butrym's DNA: reinterpreted shapes, iconic roses, exciting silhouettes, basic classics, evening accents and opposite shades, in which the voice of femininity is heard, whether subtle, assertive or elusive.

Magda herself defines the mood of the collection with three words: Dreamy, Romantic, Slavic. But the main thing is bloom. To bloom. To open up. To be yourself, even if it means being fragile. Women don't have to prove anything. They just want to be beautiful. And this collection gives them that right - no excuses, no compromises.

Things seem to whisper: “you can be different”. A soft hoodie next to an evening dress, a leather coat with an accent on the waist next to a scarf with roses, which became a reflection of the collection. Here, every detail breathes attention, aesthetics and a sense of the moment. This is not fashion for fashion's sake - these are clothes that create a mood and preserve memories.

Roses have a special role. They are not just a decorative element, but almost a lyrical hero of the collection. Their petals are repeated in cut lines, in embroidery, in jewelry. They appear in accessories and even in shoes - delicate, but with character. The flower becomes more than just an accent - it becomes an emotional dominant, a symbol of femininity that speaks for itself.

The launch of the collection in Warsaw was like a theatrical production: velvet curtain, soft light, a sea of live roses and national Polish music, which sounded as if it was written especially for these outfits. The whole space breathed the very sensitivity that the collection so accurately conveys. In this atmosphere, the clothes became a state that determined the mood.

And, as time has shown, the response was instantaneous. The collection sold out almost instantly. Key items sold out on the first day, and now you can only find them on resale platforms. But this is not a disappointment, but a confirmation: Magda Butrym and H&M have created something truly alive. Something that gets to the heart of the matter.

And even if you didn't manage to buy a dress or a branded scarf, the collection is still with you - in your emotions, in your memory, in that subtle feeling that remains when fashion speaks not loudly, but honestly.

It was a story about women. About beauty that needs no explanation. About moments that you want to preserve. About the rose that really has something to say.
