Italian fashion house Prada presented its Fall/Winter 2024-2025 women's collection during Milan Fashion Week, which was a romantic and historical journey full of flowing lines and contrasts of strength and tenderness.

For the fashion house, today's stereotypical items of clothing - whether it's kosuks, bombers or knitwear - are shaped and exist through elements taken from history, which change in certain aspects, taking on new meaning. Among the elements that have not gone unnoticed are bags hanging from the wrists of models through belts, bows of different sizes on dresses and hats of different textures and materials.

Prada's women's collection brought us back to the scene the brand presented last January, during Milan Men's Fashion Week. In the Fondazione Prada warehouse, nature and urbanization came together thanks to a striking glass floor that offers views of meadows, bushes, rocks and water and attracts so much attention. In addition, the color palette and some of the images kept the same essence as the men's collection, with slight changes in tones and silhouettes that gave freshness and recognition.

The silhouettes - linear, with loose and airy dresses on one side, and rigid with structured dresses on the other - exuded softness and strength at the same time thanks to the materials: transparent silk and stiff wool. The color palette emphasized this duality of fragility and rigidity, alternating black and grey with shades of bright colors such as purple, green or blue, as well as soft pastels such as pink or pale blue. Bows and ruffles didn't go unnoticed either, especially after they came to symbolize the flirty aesthetic we saw everywhere.
