The 108th edition of Pitti Uomo has once again put the focus on men's clothing brands that continue to explore new avenues in their quest to carve out their own space in the men's fashion landscape. Visitors, industry professionals, fashion insiders, and journalists gathered at the sector's most important men's fashion fair to present their new collections.
In addition to the highly anticipated shows by Homme Pliss&eacute; Issey Miyake (guest of honor at the exhibition), Children of the Discordance by designer Hideaki Shikama, Niccol&ograve; Pasqualetti, and Korean brand PAF - Post Archive Faction (both guest designers at Pitti Uomo 108), the magic of men's fashion unfolded inside the Fortezza da Basso amid offerings from major men's fashion houses and projects by up-and-coming talents.

At Pitti Immagine Uomo 108, Italian brand Paul &amp; Shark reaffirmed its position with its Spring/Summer 2026 men's collection, confirming its vision of technical elegance. The brand continues to focus on the quality of its materials, offering garments that combine performance and elegance in a perfect balance. The flagship of this direction is the Two in One windbreaker&mdash;reversible and functional, combining the natural beauty of linen jersey with cutting-edge Typhoon Platinum technology. A garment created for those who seek versatility without compromising on style, in full keeping with the brand's identity.

Next up are Sebago and Superga from the BasicNet group. Sebago confirms its evolution beyond footwear with the presentation of its 2026 summer collection, which expands its men's offering and boldly introduces women's clothing. The American brand, known for its iconic Classic Dan penny loafers, is betting on a complete and refined wardrobe that combines preppy aesthetics, nautical functionality, vintage taste, and outdoor style. With a balanced mix of heritage and modernity, Sebago offers a cohesive look that stays true to its roots while speaking a contemporary and universal language.

At the 108th edition of the exhibition, Superga presents a collection that looks back on its own archives with respect but without nostalgia. Iconic models such as the Classica 2750&mdash;the star of its centenary year&mdash;sit alongside new silhouettes inspired by different territories and materials, from African batik to French Toile de Jouy. Between heritage and innovation, the collection stands out for its refined use of natural materials and a color palette inspired by nature. The Artifact line and Sport OG sneakers continue to consistently follow the brand's identity.

In the Central Pavilion, outerwear leader Tatras continues its journey between functionality and sophistication, with an aesthetic that blends Japanese sensibility and Western urban pragmatism. Lightweight outerwear, technical fabrics with a distressed effect, and clean lines define a hybrid wardrobe designed for moving between city and nature. References to urban safaris are expressed in practical yet original designs, while contrasting prints and materials confirm the brand's sartorial signature. A consistent and well-balanced offering that values effortless elegance without chasing trends.

In the same Central Pavilion of the Fortezza da Basso, L.B.M. 1911 has decided to complement its stylistic vision with the charismatic presence of Francesco Montanari. The actor, known for his profound roles in film and theater, brought a touch of authenticity and introspection to the brand, naturally reflecting the values of effortless elegance and contemporary depth. A successful combination that demonstrates how style and personal narrative can engage in dialogue without constraint.

Among the most impressive installations at Pitti Uomo 108 is the Ellesse project in the courtyard of the Polveriera&mdash;a colorful temporary tennis club called CLUB POP, celebrating the brand's sporting roots with a playful touch amid giant rackets and live DJ sets. Here, the SS26 footwear collection marks a stylistic evolution for Ellesse, with updated silhouettes and refined finishes that reinterpret the brand's tennis DNA in a more mature key. Among the key pieces, the Tailored jacket combines elegance and functionality, while the Resort Stripes capsule and Essenziale line expand the lifestyle offering with retro stripes, lightweight fabrics, and a sophisticated palette. An immersive pop-up that stylishly reaffirms the brand's dynamic and versatile identity.

This year, creative alliances also stand out, such as Pantofola d'Oro's presentation of a creative alliance with stylist and former guest designer of Pitti 105 Thebe Magugu to mark the brand's 140th anniversary. An impressive collaboration with a young South African designer known for his narrative and social approach to fashion. The capsule collection Thebe Magugu x Pantofola d'Oro reinterprets the brand's football heritage through the aesthetics and cultural codes of African street football, combining craftsmanship and commitment. Chiteng-inspired fabrics, rich colors, and visual references to the savannah shape the footwear and silhouette, speaking to inclusivity, identity, and rebirth.

Another creative alliance at the 108th Pitti Uomo exhibition is the focused and intelligent collaboration between Bikkemberg and Gosha Rubchinskiy, the enfant terrible of post-Soviet fashion. The collaboration reimagines the Soccer shoe, a symbol of his sporty-chic aesthetic from the 90s. The designer interprets the original silhouette in a contemporary language that blends the spirit of terraces, Y2K nostalgia, and post-Soviet culture. The updated model retains its classic structure but is enriched with premium materials, a large tongue, Ottoman details, and screen-printed branding in white, green, and black. Produced by Rodolfo D'Zengarini, the sneakers appeal to a new global generation between the stadium and the street, marking a return that is more about reinvention than revival.

Cycle is also returning to Cavallini with its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, continuing its journey of stylistic hybridization by blending the roughness of vintage American denim with Italian tailoring culture. The collection plays on carefully calculated contrasts: between clean, formal pieces and deliberately imperfect textured finishes, between rigor and freedom. Women's clothing emphasizes lightness and summer femininity with flowing volumes, textured denim, and unexpected touches of light. A well-constructed balance between heritage and innovation with a clear vision of tomorrow's casual wear.

Outside the Fortezza da Basso, in addition to evening events and shows, Antonio Marras presents his Sanstitre shirt project in his Florence boutique as a place for collaborative creativity. More than an event, it is a gesture: tailors from Alghero, key figures in his creative universe, hand-sew pieces from the collection in front of guests, restoring the true meaning of the tailoring craft to the public.
