Franck Sorbier has organized a completely different presentation of the latest "haute couture" collection.&nbsp; The cobbled square of the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts became the podium, where the guests were first greeted by a galloping black Friesian horse, which became a symbol of freedom and unrestrained soul - one of the main ideas of this collection.

French designer Franck Sorbier, who has worked with such fashion names as Chantal Thomass and Thierry Mugler, presented his first collection in 1987. Having become a member of the Paris Haute Couture association seventeen years ago, today he has a distinctive theatrical streak and presents haute couture collections every season as if they were stories, creating short films imbued with historical references and dramatic images.&nbsp;The 2022 fall-winter haute couture collection expressed a lot of theatricality with the performance of jockeys, harlequins, musicians and dancers.

The unexpected show started with a horse galloping onto the square, charming the audience with its long black mane blowing in the wind, and stopped on the steps of the conservatory.&nbsp; To the sound of live saxophone music, the masqueraders peeked through the large wooden doors and soon a harlequin and a Carmen-like dancer in a long red dress appeared. After she led the horse to the square, the carnival began: while the other horses performed tricks, a gentleman in a black tailcoat rode by on an antique bicycle, a music box played a nostalgic tune as if a townsman came from an old movie, and a girl in a playful mood treated the guests of the show with cotton candy.

In the hustle and bustle of the square, models wearing high collection clothes walked under each other's pavement, attracting attention not only with their images, but also with the unique characters of night Paris: femmes fatales, mysterious men, young romantics, ballerinas carrying flowers and seductive girls in evening dresses.&nbsp; Perhaps the outcasts and unrecognized, perhaps dreamers or talented craftsmen who are revered by day and succumb to the world of temptations by night.&nbsp; All of them, being so different, "talked" about the freedom to be yourself, the freedom to be different in this unified world, to not conform to the imposed rules and the choice not to join the common crowd.

Dramatic black and blood red shimmered in the sunlight for the majority of the collection, quietly speaking of poppy blossoms and the unbridled passion of the night. Jackets and capes were embellished with gorgeous hand-embroidery, suits and short dresses were decorated with black lace trimmings, and high collars on shirts and jackets added drama. The designer also touched on the theme of nature, the "Tree of Life" was embroidered on the back of the wide cloak - shining birds "squatted" on branches twisted from silk, and shiny insects "flew" around. Evening dresses were decorated with threads of plant leaves, waistcoats and velvet jackets were embroidered with rose flowers.&nbsp; Soft velvets, which F. Sorbier shaped by ruching, embroidering and creasing, gave warmth to the autumn collection.

According to Sorbier, this collection is characterized by a game that reflects modern trends, and its main idea is to find yourself on the road of life and to be closer to who you really are with each day.&nbsp;
