First glimpse of CHANEL Fall-Winter 2022/23 Haute Couture collection
In the run-up to the Fall-Winter 2022/23 Haute Couture show, CHANEL unveils a teaser directed by French contemporary artist Xavier Veilhan, starring Vivienne Rohner.
To the rhythm of “Mademoiselle”, a song specially composed by musician Sébastien Tellier, the model showcases a first preview of the collection imagined by Virginie Viard.
First glimpse of the collection
For the collection press kit, a film directed by Xavier Veilhan features himself alongside CHANEL ambassador Charlotte Casiraghi, musician Sébastien Tellier and model Vivienne Rohner. These four personalities, all close to Virginie Viard, evolve in the artist’s dreamy, fantasy universe, populated by animals and playfully shaped objects. A giant dog, a shark, vehicles and musical instruments stand out against a colourful background, playing on optics, scale and artistic blurring. Various sketches follow one another, like sequences of an imaginary journey tinged with a gentle poetry.
While Charlotte Casiraghi sings the song « Mademoiselle », composed by Sébastien Tellier especially for the occasion, Vivienne Rohner slips gracefully from one dress in long moss-green crêpe to another, in black and worn with a big hat; from an outfit swathed in geometrically sequinned patterns to a dress in painted lace and a green tweed suit.
