Perfume of the week: «Chameleon» by Zoologist
Victor Wong continues the escapist tradition in perfumery.
«Chameleon» is a tropical composition made up of yellow flowers, mainly ylang-ylang, in its heart. Here the ylang-ylang is subtle, yet still pretty sweet, and you sense its aroma as if walking through a garden where the soil is fragrant with its natural scents of the rain, dust, vegetation... A harmless immersion into a fairy-tale like reality that you totally own.
Top notes are ylang-ylang, carambola, mango, violet leaf, lemon, bergamot & pink pepper.
Heart: frangipani, coconut, cashmeran, marine notes, tender leather, sea salt, jasmine, spices - saffron and cloves.
Base: vanilla, musk, sandalwood, woody notes, opoponax (resin of several species of plants of the genus Commiphora), vetiver, patchouli and amber.
