CELINE has released a new perfume called "ZOUZOU"
The campaign was photographed and directed by Hedi Slimane himself, capturing the glamor of 60s icons.
Designer Hedi Slimane continues to broadcast his vision of youth and youthfulness with the launch of a new fragrance from CELINE called ZOUZOU. The perfume is designed to capture the carefree and frivolity of 60's icons who were characterized by freshness, signature short haircuts and mesmerizing smiles. Girls like Françoise Sagan and Jean Seberg became Slimane's muses for this fragrance and his campaign, which truly embodies the idea of "utopian youth" that the designer continues to embody throughout his career.
The top notes are made up of ambergris and musk, which are complemented by benzoin and Tonka bean. Patchouli and labdanum emphasize the amber and elegant character of the fragrance. A distinct powdery note, characteristic of all CELINE creations, also runs through the perfume.
And the name itself - ZOUZOUU - is playful and childlike. It is often used to describe a young woman with short hair, which is clearly shown in the creative video of Slimane's campaign accompanying the launch of the fragrance.

British-American actress and singer Esther Rose McGregor (22), daughter of famous actor Ewan McGregor, poses with a life-size bottle of ZOUZOU as part of a campaign shot by Slimane. The video exudes a 60s vibe thanks to the "Swinging Sixties" soundtrack and the use of a retro filter. The focus is on the nonchalant image of Esther posing enigmatically in front of Slimane's camera.
ZOUZOUU is Hedi Slimane's 12th creation in his line of luxury fragrances for CELINE.
