The grandeur of the walls of the Papal Palace in Avignon, like a temple of time, was the backdrop for one of the most enigmatic and exciting shows of the season. The Louis Vuitton 2026 cruise collection, directed by Nicolas Ghesquière, is a journey through the ages, where past and future merge into a fashion myth.

THE TIDE AND THE TURN tells a story of duality – light and shadow, certainty and doubt, calm and storm. The black and white looks symbolize the opposing poles of human emotion and choice. The sea becomes a metaphor for the soul: at times serene like a white dawn, at others restless like a dark abyss.
