&ldquo;Commitment, determination and perfectionism. I think these three words describe me best,&rdquo; says businesswoman, owner of the women&rsquo;s clothing brand &ldquo;LAMBERTI&rdquo; and designer Maria Lamberti.

Maria, you had a very eventful and varied childhood...

Yes, I studied a lot, graduated from two art schools and a music school, did rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, played the guitar and piano, danced. Since childhood, my parents have encouraged me to strive for knowledge and skills of all kinds, and actually I have used all of them in my adult life. In many ways, it is thanks to my childhood that today I can call myself a multifaceted person.
I inherited the talent for drawing from my father, I have repeatedly won international competitions, and my artistic works have taken part in various exhibitions. I really liked drawing and designing clothes, which is why my first higher education was in design.

But you didn&rsquo;t stop at getting just one degree

I graduated from the Department of Graphic Design, received a bachelor's and a master's degree, and then began to explore other areas. I also have an engineering education, I am currently studying at the Department of Law and the Department of Economics and Management. I believe that the most successful and wise people never cease to improve, and this is the main secret of their achievements. A person who achieves a lot is usually a perfectionist: nothing is ever enough for them, including knowledge. Self-development, in my opinion, is the main goal of life. There is no limit to perfection here, and this is the main beauty of this goal. As long as you are able to grow, you live.

You also speak several foreign languages...

I have been studying English since school, but I believe that my knowledge of the language also needs to be constantly improved. As a child, I fell in love with Italian, having watched all the films with Adriano Celentano. He is probably my favorite actor. My favorite singers are also Italians: Andrea Bocelli and Eros Ramazzotti, whose concert I was able to attend, and I still remember this drive and the emotions that overwhelmed me. Trips to Italy also sparked my interest in the language of this country. I think that every educated and successful person should speak at least two foreign languages fluently.

You are active in several areas, please tell us how you manage to combine them?

When people ask me what I do, I always smile. My area of interest is really very diverse: from modeling to construction. My main business is the design of women's clothing, which I have been doing for 8 years. I have my own women's clothing brand, LAMBERTI, and it gives me pleasure to create something not only for myself, but also for others. Now this business is expanding, I plan to sell my brand not only in Russia, but also in other countries.
I recently completed another project - the construction of a chalet with an interesting concept: an abundance of natural wood, loft style elements, ascetic room design. There will be several such chalets, they are in demand - people go there to enjoy the ambiance, be alone with nature, enjoy relaxation and spa treatments.
I am now building my own eco-style restaurant with an interesting concept based on healthy nutrition. I know that my idea will not be easy to implement, but I am confident that I can handle it. I have experienced designers working on the project, and I myself am also using my design and engineering experience. I think this will be a very successful project and another dream come true.

How did the modeling business become part of your life?

Since youth, I have participated in various beauty contests, one of them was a regional competition, which I won. Today, as a model, I advertise clothes of my own brand, I also receive applications from other well-known clothing brands, and various cooperation offers in the modeling industry. Recently I was invited to two beauty contests, one of them was Miss Europe, but unfortunately, for work reasons, I had to turn it down. Such competitions require a lot of effort in the preparation process, perhaps next year I will be able to find some time to go to Naples for the competition - this will be a great opportunity to practice Italian.

How do you manage to stay in such great shape?

First of all, it's thanks to good genetics. As well as proper nutrition and exercise. My fitness program includes three strength training sessions a week and two stretching classes, I have a personal trainer who helps me adjust my diet and select the right set of exercises. I try to eat more healthy food, fresh fruits and vegetables, and the right carbohydrates. Although, if I really want something &ldquo;forbidden&rdquo;, I don&rsquo;t restrict myself &ndash; I can eat half a cake or two bars of chocolate. This doesn&rsquo;t affect my shape in any way, but I try not to abuse this gift of nature too much and, in general, eat right.

You took up singing recently...

Yes, I&rsquo;m currently taking singing lessons, learning to breathe correctly. Singing not only help you open up as a person, it also helps you feel more confident, experience bodily freedom, and get in touch with your emotions. Your voice is a gift of nature that helps you express yorself to the whole world.

Do you have any free time and how do you like to spend it?

I love traveling and visiting new places and countries. I am lucky to have visited more than 20 countries. One of my favorite places in the world is the Maldives, where I&rsquo;ve already been six times. There are the most picturesque reefs there, I like snorkeling, and I plan to go scuba diving. I was also captivated by Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater and the national parks of Tanzania, where you can watch the migration of animals - it&rsquo;s something incredible. Very soon I&rsquo;m going to China, where I&rsquo;ve never been before, and then my friends and I will fly to Thailand.

I can't help asking how you find time for everything you do?

My friends and acquaintances are also surprised at how I manage to study, work on new projects, and spend time on my hobbies and languages. It is very difficult and sometimes seems impossible. But you must be determined and dedicated to every task in order to see it through to completion. My advice to everyone is to never give up. Throughout my career, I have often heard words like &ldquo;it&rsquo;s impossible&rdquo; and &ldquo;it won&rsquo;t work.&rdquo; But if I have a dream, I always believe that it will come true. And life always proves this strategy to be the only correct one.
