The Costume Institute’s Spring 2024 Exhibition 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion' will revive the sensory capacities of approximately 250 objects from the Museum’s collection through diverse technologies.

The Munich-based retailer celebrated a successful collaboration with Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli during a two-day visit to Lake Orta. Richard Johnson, Mytheresa's Commercial and Sustainability Director, recalls the event.

On May 6th, H&M joined fashion’s biggest night of the year, The Met Gala. Awkwafina, Adwoa Aboah, Paloma Elsesser, Quannah Chasinghorse, Hari Nef and Stefon Diggs walked the red carpet wearing one-of-a-kind H&M designs.

She strides through the clash of cold weapons, clad in armor weighing over ten pounds. Her features are obscured by the «grey mud» required for her role, buried under the swirling dust. In the midst of it all, she gazes steadily at the camera, her eyes revealing an undisturbed resilience, like a calm puddle after the rain. This is a classic scene of Zhang Tian’ai, a Chinese actress, playing the female general «Amai» in the web series «Amai Joins the Army», perfectly embodying the spirit of «women holding their own against men».

The Met Gala 2024 transformed the red carpet of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art into an unprecedented fashion show. This year's theme for the evening ball, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," added a touch of magic, focusing on exploring fashion archives and reviving forgotten gems, just as Aurora did in the Disney fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty."

“The sun, architecture, music and dance: Marseille also has a very strong sense of freedom. I was inspired by the codes of lifestyle, of everyday life and by all the things that invite movement. The sea and the wind made me want to play with wetsuits,” explains Virginie Viard.
