Eternal Summer

In stillness, light bends — a mirrored world, softly spun, where ordinary and mystery merge. But in the end, isn't it always the case? Each instant is timeless, each shadow is luminous, capturing the essence through reflecting senses.

Set against the backdrop of the Huangpu River, the outer model, dressed in haute couture, shuttles between luxurious yachts and vintage ferries. Yachts symbolize the refinement of modern cities, while ferries carry the hustle and bustle of old Shanghai, creating a visual tension of interwoven time and space. 

Rebellious harmony subverts traditional aesthetics, using two foreign models as the medium to explore balance in conflict. Abandoning perfect composition, asymmetrical shapes, exaggerated proportions and unconventional colors collide - torn silk entwined around industrial metal, fluorescence splashing the texture of classical oil paintings. 

‘Pure Essence’ is a visual homage to the unadulterated power of femininity. Reduced to the essentials, yet full of expression. This editorial sees itself as an aesthetic retreat in a time of abundance. The woman takes centre stage as a timeless symbol of grace, clarity and inner strength.

Fashion has always been about storytelling. It attempts to represent the balance between movement and stillness, softness and structure, as well as power and strength. I tried to achieve this balance with the model by showing unattainability, but also femininity.
